An Unmatched Commitment to Service Excellence

FRMG’s service commitment is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our radiologist physicians are willing to consult on and read at any hour of the day. We realize that communication with referring physicians is essential. That’s why we will directly contact referring physicians with critical and/or unexpected results. Reports are typically available within minutes of interpretation and less than an hour after scanning, thanks to our use of voice recognition technology to create reports.

Our radiologists are always available to review studies with referring physicians. We value the relationships we have with imaging centers and referring physicians. We align our goals with the goals of our referring clinicians and healthcare systems.

We offer comprehensive women’s health services such as breast biopsy, 3D ultrasound, uterine artery embolization, mammogram and 3D mammogram (tomosynthesis) readings at our women’s health centers.

A Half Century of Leadership and Firsts

FRMG provides a full range of radiology services typically associated with larger medical centers. Founded in 1964 and incorporated in 1969, FRMG was only the third licensed medical corporation in the state of California. FRMG is a subspecialized radiology practice providing complete radiology services in multiple sites throughout Southern California. FRMG has a long-standing tradition of quality and commitment to excellence, not to mention some notable firsts:

  • FRMG was the first group in Orange County to perform nuclear cardiology.
  • FRMG was the first provider in Orange County to perform mobile CT scanning.
  • FRMG introduced the first dedicated mammogram machine to Orange County.
  • FRMG developed one of the first vertebroplasty programs in Orange County.

A Strong Focus on Evidence Based Medicine

Today, after a half-century of serving hospitals and imaging centers, FRMG continues to use evidence-based medicine to provide excellent services for Rose Plaza Imaging, Preferred Diagnostic Imaging in Bellflower, Placentia Linda Hospital and Corona Regional Medical Center. Of course, FRMG’s eight experienced, board-certified radiologist physicians (including five interventional radiologists) can read images at any time, 24/7. That includes breast MRI, mammogram, 3D mammogram, MRI, open MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D ultrasound, X-rays, nuclear medicine and other, more complex imaging procedures.
